Pinaceae - Pine Family
The Pine family (Pinaceae) in the boreal forest is a cornerstone, boasting several iconic and ecologically vital tree species. Dominant members include the White Spruce (Picea glauca), Black Spruce (Picea mariana), and Siberian Larch (Larix sibirica). These conifers define the boreal landscape, contributing to the region's ecological resilience and providing valuable resources for both wildlife and human communities.
